Yahoo slowly buying the Social Me

Hey, Yahoo just purchased del.icio.us. At this point, Google gets my search, Yahoo gets most everything else. Come to think of it, I don't think I've posted my delicious page yet. Something I need to add to my blog.

For all the noise Google gets, and I use their search engine religiously, I don't use a whole lot else except the occasional Google Maps. I have a gmail account and rarely use it. I have a Google Analytics account but still prefer StatCounter. Yahoo gets my Instant Messaging, personal email, flickr account (which I intend to use) and my bookmarks.

It's odd how all of the Podcasts I listen to talk 90% Google yet spend 10% of the time saying Yahoo is "ahead".

Yahoo is slowly buying the Social Me. +1 Yahoo.

The Social Me has to digest this with a bit more thought.

Listen to Niagara

FYI, David Berlind over at ZDNet has an interview with Fred Kohout of Sun's Scalable Systems Group covering the T1000, T2000 and Niagara. Listen in. I found this through my podcast subscription through Dan & David's Between The Lines.
