Will blog for food, Starbucks or a JavaOne bag

Time for some shameless blogging. Being a Sun employee doesn't mean I'm special. I do get a shirt for working the hands-on labs. That's cool. However, I don't get meal tickets or a JavaOne bag. I'm fine without the meal tickets. I'll live off the goodies they give during the breaks and order a triple-shot mocha in the morning to keep me going. Call it a week-long sugar and caffeine high. OK, OK, I can eat at the Moscone Center cafe, but the caffine high stays.

As for Starbucks, it's not even NetBeans day yet and I am approaching the limit of my Starbucks budget. Hmmm, if I sleep in Union Square for the last night then I can re-allocate my finances to address my caffiene addiction ...

Karma has gotten me to JavaOne, so I consider myself very lucky. But it hasn't quite gotten me to the JavaOne bag. In the past, I have had literally zero room for all the JavaOne goodies and have had to leave my JavaOne bag behind to avoid baggage check-in. If anyone happens to be in that situation, I will blog for your bag :) This year's bag looks pretty darn good and I have beaten last years bag to a bloody pulp from over-use.
