The 2009 Elections are here!

The 2009 JCP Executive Committee (EC) Elections are here!   This year's elections run October 1 - November 3.

Due to the changes introduced with the JCP version 2.7 Maintenance Release in June 2009, the time line for the annual JCP EC Elections looks a bit different this year.  The nomination phase is first--happening now at our Election web site.  Nominations for the 2 open EC seats--one on the Standard/Enterprise Edition (SE/EE) EC and one on the Micro Edition (ME) EC.  Any JCP program member may nominate themselves here.

On 20 October, the ballot for the ratified and open EC seats will be posted.  The  election will start on 20 October and end on 2 November.   The following seats are up for election this year: Fujitsu Limited, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Doug Lea, Oracle on the SE/EE EC, and on the ME EC Ericsson AB, Motorola, Qisda, Siemens, Vodafone. There are also 2 more seats open due to the resignation of Nortel (SE/EE EC) and Philips (ME EC).

There are 2 open JCP EC seats--nominate yourself today! Nominations will be open until 14 October.  More information on the EC Elections available here.

Hi,
What are the requirement to be able to vote at the election? Any JCP member can? I can't seem to find the information.
