What a great idea
Sun today announced blogs.sun.com and it's a really great to see Sun behind the idea of its employees blogging. I am a software developer with the N1 Grid group. I have only worked for Sun for about three months, but before that I interned with Sun while in college. Between my internship and my new position at Sun, I worked for a start-up company (which was bought by Sun) and worked for InstallShield as a Java/Unix developer.

The N1 Grid Service Provisioning product is a really cool product. It solves a lot of the complex problems that customers have with installation across a data center or enterprise environment. In fact, while at InstallShield, customers used to ask us if our InstallShield product supported installation/deployment across many machines. InstallShield does not, but our product at Sun does that very thing.

I set a goal for myself to write one post a day, so more will come later.
