Heaven?
I went to HaiLuoGou and JiuZaiGou (in Sichuan province) in October this year. They are quite beautiful places. When I was there, I almost felt that I was in the heaven. After I sent some photos to some friends, they feel quite suprised to see such beautiful scenes. Here are some photos. Indeed, both HaiLuoGou and JiuZaiGou are more beautiful than them in the photos.

Today, I visited Kaifu Li's web site for Chinese students. There are many good articles there. Not only for the students, they are also quite good for almost everyone.

Nice Olympic Game and Nice Result
After all these days' good job, China team got 32 gold medals and 63 medals totally in Olympic 2004. She is the No. 2 according to gold medals number and No.3 according to the total medals number. This is the No.1 score we've ever got. Here is the medal list of all countries [In Chinese].

The Olympic flag has been transferred to Beijing. Wish a great success for Olympic 2008.

Special day for China today
Today is August 22, 2004. A special day? Why?

Yes. Today is a special day for China. According to the lunar calendar, today is the traditional Chinese Lover Day (just like Santa Valentine's day). Hope every couple happy. 愿天下有情人皆成眷属。

Also, China Olympic team got the 100th gold medal in summer Olympic Games. And, the China Olympic team reach the goal of Olympic 2004 to win 20+ gold medals. They've got 22 gold medals by now, including the 1st gold medal for tennis ball. Congratulations and wish them a continuous bigger progress.

1st day in Olympic 2004
In the 1st day, China team won 4 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 copper medal and is currently No.1 on the medal list. :-)

2nd gold medal in Olympic 2004

So glad to hear that Yifu Wang won the 2nd gold medal (shooting) for China team. By now, the first 2 gold medals in Olympic 2004 are all won by China team. Congratulations.

Glad to hear that Li Du from China team won the 1st gold medal (shooting) in Olympic 2004. Congratulations.

Olympic Games begin today

Olympic Games will begin officially today in Athens. It's said that a 'Trojan Horse' will show up in the opening ceremony. It's a big secret to look forward.

China team won 28 gold medals in the last time. Though China women football team was defeated by German team by 0:8 the day before yestoday, hope the whole China team can do a good job in this year's Olympic Games.

It rains a lot this summer in Beijing
Generally, people think that it's quite dry in North China and it rains a lot in South China. But, it rains so much in Beijing this summer. There was ever storm several times this summer. Since people were not ready for such a sudden storm, the rain even flooded into some cars. It's said that this is related to the warmer and warmer weather of the world. Also, there is a rumor to say that in a near future, it will rain frequently and heavily in North China and it will be dry in South China. Will this become true? Hope the weather will not change so quickly and so much. Also, hope we continuously have a nice and comfortable environment to live in.

Today, I attended an English training and encounted a heavy rain. I was almost totally wet when I was back home. :-(

We lost the Asian Cup
It's a pity that we lost the final match in the Asian Cup on 1:3. Although there is different opinion about the second hit by Japan team, it shows we still need to improve the skills greatly and continuously. Hope we can be the champion next time and best wishes to the China team.

Also, I need to treat some team members since we have made a bet.

Free Lunch :-)

Before the semi-final match between China & Iran in the Asia Cup, some team members made a bet. If China team won, some guys would treat other guys including me for lunch. On contrast, we would treat them. It was great that after 120 minutes's match, China Soccer Team beat Iran Soccer Team 4:3. (After the match, China will meet Japan in Saturday's final.)

Today, we went to a good restaurant and had a nice lunch. It was interesting that during the lunch, we've almost worked out another complicated bet for the final match. Besides which team wins, people can bet on the score. Also, there is rule to make sure high risk matches high income. Great. :-)

Music Club Activity
To make our lives colorful, we set up several clubs in SCERI (Sun China Engineering & Research Institute), including Movie Club, Music Club, Badminton Club, Basketball Club and so on.

Today, we held a lovely Music Club activity. We practised our singing by karaoke in Party World. It's a splendid place. People can sing, play and have dinner there. Also, there are many kinds of free drinks supplied. We had a quite good time there. Also, we found some new stars from the performance. A plan to set up a chorus is proposed. Wish it a great success and hope we enjoy work and enjoy life everyday.

3rd annual celebration of ERI
It's time for the 3rd annual celebration of ERI (Sun China Engineering & Research Institute). So nice to take a all staff photo and enjoy the related activities. Here is a pic of some team members. team members

To celebrate the 3rd annual, I bought a very beautiful plant for my desk. :-)

Teamwrok Training
To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Sun China Engineering & Research Institute (SCERI), we had a teamwork training today. We complete all the tasks although they are tough. The projects we attended included 'survive after disaster', 'confidential to fall down', 'pass through electric grid' and 'get treasure from boiled liquid'. Here is the photo before we started. We'll sure to win. :-)
