Not sure what he means by "something like" open source Solaris, but at least we're in there right along with Linux and even before we open the code. Cool.

Unlike Longhorn, Solaris 10 will launch with significant advancements, and building an open source community around such innovative code could really make Microsoft mad. They seem pretty upset by Linux and open source generally, and now along comes Sun with open source Solaris. I wonder what their reaction will be? Could be an interesting year around here.
