A Puddle and Some Blood

I almost sat in this puddle tonight. It's only water, of course, so it would be harmless. Well, I assume it's only water. But anyway. Can you imagine sitting in a little puddle of blood? Now, that's a great shot, Jon.

I think that the only difference between those two shot is the strength of the enclosing form... meaning that because the "blood" is isolated in that circle it has more visual impact. The colour probably helps, but i'm a shapes person, so that's what i see :)

yah, I agree. Plus, my shot is a little soft when you really blow it up, and I wanted a little more depth on top. That fact that I'm taking photos of puddles, though, is the real story. :)

No, it's not really blood. :) Just looks like it, which makes for a dramatic image.
