Finally! The Kits Arrive!
The OpenSolaris User Group Kits are arriving. Finally! We got ours today in Tokyo, and I've heard from some other groups that they are finally getting their kits too. At last. My God. These kits are so unbelievably late, and that has royally pissed me off. Huge apologies for that, guys. It will never happen again. The next time we do this we'll have to totally reconsider our strategy and implementation. There's no way we are going to screw up a relatively simple project this bad again. Not with my name on it, anyway. But that's for another day. At least the OpenSolaris User Groups (that's about 5,000 people) are getting their stuff and that's good. I'm very happy.
Hi Jim,
I received the UG Kit today ... they are really good although had to worked really hard to get it out from the courier and Octroi mafia finally bought it home and stared to distribute among members.
