Jonathan and Doc

Really nice one-on-one conversation between Jonathan Schwartz and Doc Searls at Syndicate 2005. It was just posted recently (last week, probably) on IT Conversations. It's long ... over an hour. Lots of talk about the Internet, blogging, OpenSPARC, OpenSolaris, DRM, and Sun's entirely new product line up. This is the interview where Jonathan first spoke publically about the possibility of licensing OpenSPARC with the GPL. It got everyone all worked up at the time, and I can see why. Listen to the interview and you'll see how emphatic he was that GPL was absolutely being considered. Doc has the best quote in the conversation -- "... Sun, a founding company in the Internet space and possibly the most important company out there in many respects."
