OpenSolaris Hot Topics 3: Tokyo
I stopped by the OpenSolaris Hot Topics 3 session in Tokyo tonight. Topics included DTrace, OpenSolaris, and Globalization. Hisayoshi Kato, Reiko Saito, Takanobu Masuzuki, and Shoji Haraguchi presented. A couple of observations. First, there were about 135 people there, so the audience is clearly increasing in number for these sessions. And second, the people look a lot younger. We must be reaching some new guys, eh? Interesting. I see changes here since the OpenSolaris distro was launched. No question about it. We`ll see if the trend continues.
