I just checked the registrations on opensolaris.org, and the number is 36,300. Not bad considering that it was coming in around 22k a couple of weeks ago. Seems like the OpenSolaris Starter Kit is really flying out there around the world. I also find it fascinating that the top two countries ordering kits are Poland and Russia -- both of which individually have twice as many orders as the entire United States. So, the U. S. comes in third and then another 108 countries after that. Not a bad start, eh?

Order your OpenSolaris Starter Kit here. Get involved in the OpenSolaris Starter Kit Project here.
Comments:

It should not be surprising, since Solaris is available for download and the bandwidth it much bigger and cheaper in the US than in Eastern Europe.
