Special thanks to Akira Ohsone and his team for setting up a great OpenSolaris BOF tonight at JavaOne Tokyo. Fifty Japanese developers came to hear the latest about the OpenSolaris community. It was a bit of a challenge for me with the translator because I had to always interrupt myself to give the translator time to, well, translate. It wasn't live translation like in the bigger sessions and keynotes. But I got used to it after a few minutes. Then, of course, all the questions had to be translated for me, as well. Great fun. I told the guys that next year I'll do the preso in Japanese.

Akira Ohsone talks Solaris and OpenSolaris at a full session this afternoon at JavaOne Tokyo. There wasn't any translation, but that's ok ... I got a good lesson in Japanese.
