Today I was browsing through the TPC website. I noticed that Sun Fire E25K with Solaris 10 is the leader in performance in TPC-H in the 3000GB Scale Factor category, with a great price/performance.

In case you still haven't seen this SAS press release . It was on Sun Fire 15K. Wish they had tried it on Sun Fire E25K.

Based on a recent reorg in Sun, my new responsibilities include BIDW - Business Intelligence Data Warehousing. This is an interesting change in role for me. I would like to chat with Sun Customers/resellers on this topic and would like to get some feedback on understanding well the customer views of requirements, issues and expectations while implementing BIDW Solutions (specially with Sun Platform).
