Hi - just thought folks might be interested. Got the latest NetBeans 6.0 building from head which has the CND C/C++ support included and ran it using the Mercurial Plugin against a simple Mercurial Hello world project that was already under Mercurial control.
The good news is that it actually comes up and things seem to work, well kinda (check out the status window below). Now if you click on the .hg directory in the Projects window all hell breaks lose, but then no ones perfect 
We'll work on this over the next few weeks or so to flush out the issues, but so far so good.
