JMX, SNMP, Java, etc...Daniel Fuchs blogs on JMX, SNMP, Java, etc... |
... I hate those Test Please Ignore things that show up from time to time... Actually, I don't as much hate the actual things themselves than I hate writing them myself ... But as it happens, there's something quite strange happening today on my java.blogs page. You may have noticed that our beloved blogs.sun.com has acquired some improvement overnight... The team that handles blogs.sun.com is terrific and they're doing a great job. I love the new version, with shorter URLs, and Next Page / Previous Page links that let you browse the older entries... But it looks as if this has had some side effects on java.blogs... Since I am quite curious, I was wondering whether the disturbing side effects (all my entries are appearing three times) is limited to older entries only, or will also happen with new ones... And the idea to create one of these Test Please Ignore entries crossed my mind... A few days ago, I was browsing java.blogs when a nice Java Flower caught my eyes... In fact, it's been created by a small Java Applet that draws a graph representing the HTML structure of a WEB page... And this is how my own blog looked like:
Nice idea, isn't it? Maybe we could also create such a piece of art work from the structure of a Java Application... Maybe it could even become a new criteria to decide on the matter of code beauty ;-) Well, so now let's find out right away if my new entry appears only once... ;-) cheers,-- daniel Tags: blogging java Posted by dfuchs ( Aug 25 2006, 05:15:52 PM CEST ) Permalink Comments [0] |
