Dmitri Maximovich: Monitoring JVM memory with MRTG

Dmitri Maximovich has written an excellent article about how to monitor JVM memory using MRTG. His article includes a script that uses jps and jstat to output data in the format expected by MRTG, as well as a description on how to plug in the script into MRTG config.
This is great stuff! I even forwarded it to DZone ;-).

Thanks Dmitri!

Update: Dmitri has also written a new article explaining how to do the same thing with the JVM SNMP Agent
