I read Jonathan's blog all the time and I found these discussions which really gave me a kick.

Go look at these videos!!

It makes me proud to work for Sun. Let each and everyone help out developing the world to be a better place.

I hope that I will be around in 2027 to see what the Internet (and Sun) has become!!!

Yes I am very much alive. After about a 1½ years as a consultant I am now back as a Sales Engineer (Architect, Trusted Advisor ....) on the Sales side again. It is always interesting to do job rotation and I think that one should to this once in a while.

This should have been done 10 years ago ... Lets hope that we can attract a lot of bright software developers out there!! One place that already is thinking about it is the fine people at Blastwave check out their front page. /JD
I have been running all the Solarises all the way back to SunOS 3.3. I have tried many of the different Linuxes but I keep comming back to Solaris. Yea Gould Secure Unix (or whatever it was called) had something that looked like zones. Everybody at Sun is showing of their new AMD systems, BUT I like to point out that I am running the Solaris 10 with 3-4 zones on an OLD 400Mhz, 256Mbyte HP-Brio PC at home. I will do this until Jonathan sends me an AMD :-) One zone is uses for samba and nfs-v4 and one is used for other services like dns dhcp .... I have a testzone to test things out ... and when I am done I uninstall it and reinstall ... IT IS TRULY GREAT!!
