Back in the UK
I've been attending Ian Whites staff meeting in GMP for the past week. Its been great to
catchup with all the key initiatives ongoing for services and a chance for me to meet the
rest of Ian's team. Working in such a geographically distributed team its hard to do
face to face meetings or even find convenient timezones to meet over the phone.
Two of the highlights of the week for me were the all-hands in GMP. Thanks for all
the great questions, I'll be back late January to run a technical all hands. Also look
out for the email I mentioned describing some of the infrastructure initiatives we are working.
The second was discovering that MaryCay Kosten plays a mean game of snooker, don't let the
"I'm American, and dont understand the rules" lines fool you :-). I'll add my voice
to Dan and Hal, we need you blogging externally!!
