Doing things on a friday night can sometimes be a bad thing for a couple of reasons.
- I can't usually be over bothered with checking my facts.
- It often annoys my long suffering wife!
My last post was no different to this as I managed to definitely fulfill the first point above and most likely the second. The cool new thread modes that are now in pstack(1) and truss(1) came to us from the world of
Eric Schrock . Amongst other things Eric has given to us really cool features like the new vnode pathname work, meaning we can all see the names of the files we are working with when using tools such as pfiles(1) (and obviously DTrace). Keep on bringin' it Eric!
Next time I'll check the SCCS history and not just the architecture case. Lazy boy.
