... is almost here. And I am so happy to read the comments of the few folks who tried it last night...
Just wanted to chime in to say I downloaded the nightly
bits including dwarf and it was a pleasure to install
Solaris using it! Great job to the team and I look forward to
future improvements.
All this is going into SXDE 3 which due this month. We are definitely planning an install-fest out here in Bangalore. Cant wait to show people how the install experience has changed.
A bunch of goodies is being lined up for the months ahead in the install area - Slim Install, Distribution Constructor and Snap Upgrade. I am especially looking at Slim Install - imagine this - pop a CD into your drive, boot from it - you like what you see - and then you click install!
Great timing. FOSS.IN 2007 has been announced. And we hope to participate in big way again.

Hi Joe,
Sounds like good stuff - I am extremely happy about the snap upgrade being able to migrate from UFS to ZFS root, however I have a question: Is it also clever enough to remove the metadb partitions or offer you a method to do so?
