*RV-VLSI Design Center *( www.rv-vlsi.com )* was inaugurated* on the 11th of July 2007, by Bhaskar Pramanik in the presence of Karnataka's IT secretary M.N. Vidyashankar, industry members  & a host of other people at the RV Institute of Management campus, Bangalore.

RV-VLSI Design Center has been established by Rashtreeya Shikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) , the name behind the reputed RV Group of Institutions, one of the foremost providers of quality education in the state of Karnataka.

This facility will support RV's initiative to promote a hands-on approach to gaining expertise in VLSI design and thus add a steady stream of industry-ready qualified engineers.

This design centre spans approximately 8000 sqft & is a showcase for Sun's latest products - Sun Rays, Sun x64 servers & storage , N1 Grid Engine - to cater to the design and simulation of advanced ASIC engineering activities of the center.
