Screencast: Connectability Checking in CASA Editor
One nice usability feature in CASA (Composite Application Service Assembly) Editor in NetBeans SOA Pack is that when you select an endpoint and try to make a connection, all the connectible endpoints, be it WSDL ports, endpoints defined by JBI Modules, or some external endpoints, are highlighted for you. To check why two endpoints cannot be connected, select one endpoint first, and then start dragging. When mouse hovers over the other (non-highlighted) endpoint, wait for the tooltip to show up. The tooltip explains why the connection cannot be made.
