Three stars may be generous, but this didn't completely suck. Like "Reloaded" did. You get extra points for exceeding expectations. In this case, there was a plot of sorts, and some action; a little less conversation (which Elvis and I agree is a good thing); and some rich, leave-you-wanting-more nastiness from The Merovingian and Mr. Smith, or as I prefer to call him, Elrond reincarnated as an IBM rep. Worth seeing if you liked the first one and survived the second; doesn't stand (kneel, crawl, or even drag itself across the floor) on its own. (2004-06-19 08:56:15.0) Permalink Comments:
