Documentation links for Solaris newcomers

If you are new to Solaris and wondering where to start, the "Introduction to the Solaris Development Environment " is a great resource . It provides an overview of the Solaris 10 OS with links to man pages, OS manuals, Sun Studio document collection and more.

There is also some very useful documentation for newcomers to Solaris on the OpenSolaris site. Here's a list of links to the "New to Solaris" documentation on the OpenSolaris site :

This is a link to a General FAQ on Solaris 10 and this link points to the Solaris Information Center on the BigAdmin site with pointers to documentation on Solaris System Administration.

Also take a look at the Solaris Internals website at www.solarisinternals.com which has articles and blogs about all things Solaris.
