Congratulations. I wonder if there would be interest in a similar effort for GlassFish. - eduard/o

Thank you Eduardo!! Yes, I agree with you and I'm also interested in. I'm working in software globalization group and my colleagues, Tomonori Shioda and Shinya Ogino have localized the glassfish project page into Japanese. I want to extend such localization to another languages. Please give your ideas if you have.

I have a question. I dislike the translated version.I am a Chinese. Why not provide the locale file as a netbeans module instead of the multi-language netbeans? Or , provide an option for UI language and locale settings when installing.

Thank you hantsy for comment. Yes, I agree with you and I understand some folks prefer to use English UIs. We are thinking to provide localized files as add-on on NetBeans 6.0, which means users will be able to add/not add localized files by new installer. Until the fix, please use --locale option or remove all *_zh_CN.jar (in chinese case) from NetBeans installation.

Should I be in the safe side if I download and install NB 5.5 es-ES in a separate directory to test it with the same user profile than my regular NB 5.5 en-US? This would allow me to test and help debugging and improving the translation, but I definitely don't want to end with a corrupt user profile because of switching between NB localized and English versions. TIA

Thank you very much Ricardo for comment and help. I believe user profile can be shared, there should not be any setting as localized string and value other than English. However, it would be easy and reasonable for you to start IDE in another user profile by --userdir option or backup current profile.

new daily build 200705140000 is ready.

Thank you Walter! I can not read Spanish so I asked Aristides to translate to English. Thank you again for your comment.

Thank you very much for your answer, Masaki. There is a reason for me asking. If I can use NB 5.5 es-ES on a regular basis with confidence about my user profile, there are many more chances of detecting translation errors and typos. However, if I should test it separately, either I must spend a lot of time to test it thoroughly (time that, unfortunately, I don't have), or my tests will be very limited. I think I will back up and try it.

It looks great in spanish, thank you for the effort!. I'm a little ashamed: even when I'm mexican, I have grown up using all my IDEs in english ;). I downloaded and installed it and suddenly I was lost in the IDE :$.
