Masaki Katakai's Weblog: NetBeans Globalization

How many of you are using Emacs keybinding on NetBeans? How it works? Good enough for you? I got some feedbacks at Sun Tech Days Tokyo, NetBeans pod. I heard that one major problem is, the keybinding does not support set-mark-command. What do you think? I understand that is the followig issue. If you're Emacs user on NetBeans and actually you're in trouble, please voite.

I can not say anything about it because I'm a vi user :)

以下のようにオプションのキーマップで設定できます。



Sun Tech Days の NetBeans ブースで話をしていた時に set-mark-command が使えないのはとても困るという意見をもらいました。バグとしては

になります。是非 Vote をお願いします。

NetBeans には emacs のキーマッピングプロファイルが入っていますが実際これどうでしょう? 使えますか? 私はもともと vi ユーザーで emacs は使えない人なのでよくわかりません。バグや要望などは issuezilla で検索するとおそらくこのリストのようになるのですが足りないものがありますか? これ絶対必要とか、あれ直らないと使えないよ、という要望などあったら是非聞かせて下さい。メールでもここのコメント入れておいていただいてもかまいません。

ちなみに vi のほうでは私が知るかぎりでは２つプラグインがあります。

• Vi in NetBeans
  6.0 でテストされたとあります。1.0.0.beta2が出たばかりです。
• Project VIEX
  5.5.1 用とありますが 6.0 や Ruby IDE でも動きました。

If you want to try NetBeans 6.0 Ruby Pack and NetBeans Ruby IDE but if you don't like NetBeans default key mapping and you usually use vi or emacs, please try vi plugin and emacs key mapping.

vi plugins:

• Vi in NetBeans
  6.0 is supported. 1.0.0.beta2 has been just released.

• Project VIEX
  the build is for NetBeans 5.5.1, but you can try it with 6.0.
