SunBlade2000 @ Home Computers

Sun Blade 2000 Mary may love her SunRay@Home, but I've got my SunBlade 2000, or as I like to call it, SpaceHeater 2000. Maybe it's a little big for my tiny home office, but with the chilly winter months coming, it could come in handy. Maybe I should get that solar power after all.

Yeah, I know it's two years old, but it sure beats the Sun Blade 100 that I had at home and my old Sun Blade 1000 that I still have in my office. Actually, the SB 2000 is quite awesome to have. It's the upgraded 2 x 1.0Gz UltraSparcIII model and it's amazingly fast with Solaris 10 on it. I had no problems getting everything up and running, including the massive amount of customizations that I always do to my new systems.

My only tiny complaint is that Thunderbird has kind of a washed out "white-on-white" look to it on Solaris If I get brave, I may have to play with the .css files a bit. Stay tuned. Oh, and gaim couldn't find some fonts, but that shouldn't be too hard to fix.
