| What I'm *NOT* Thankful For | Humor |
Tomorrow I will be thankful for all of my blessings, but today, I'm going to whine about things that bug me:
- Stay In Your Own Lane
When you are turning left or right at an intersection, and there are multiple lanes, why is it sooo difficult for some people to stay in they own freaking lane? They either cut too tight or drift out, always into my lane. Maybe it's okay to think outside of the box, but don't drive there! - Delicacies
If someone ever offers you a delicacy, run. Run fast and far away. Any food decribed as a "delicacy" is guaranteed to be something disgusting. The word delicacy is supposed to mean "something pleasing and appealing, especially a choice food." However, what it really means is "I can't believe we got those tourists to eat that!" - Spoilers
I can't stand having TV shows and movies ruined for me by idiots who must reveal key plot points. The worst offenders are the previews themselves. I never watch them because they always reveal too much. The second worst offenders are reviews. I never read those either because even the most clever reviewer will still reveal facts from which a logical mind can infer many other details. My personal most-hated spoiler is "surprise twist ending." People never feel that this is a spoiler, but it totally is. Obviously, it's not a surprise anymore and since I know it's coming, I can usually figure out what it is. When I'm king I will make two edicts:- Previews can only use material from the first third of the movie or TV show.
- Revealing that there is a "surprise ending" is punishable by
deathremoving your phone number from the "do not call" list for telemarketers.
So, remember to vote for me for king.
