Dilbert: Our Future President Humor

Scott Adams' blog today asks readers to post comments containing pictures of the presidential candidates today, and then in 8 years, should they become president.  Adams' says that looks are important, so we need a preview of what they would look like in 8 years so we can make an informed vote now.

Here are my entries:

Sure Sign That The Elections Are Over Life

Yup, gas prices are back up again.  You'd think they would at least try to make it not so obvious.  My local gas station went up 5 cents on Tuesday.

Election or Britney Spears? Entertainment

Let's all predict which will be the bigger news story tonight:  The US elections, or Britney Spears divorcing Kevin Federline.  I think the odds makers are putting this at even money right now.

Update [08 Nov 2006]:  To the TV news' credit, I didn't see a single story about Britney, but this morning's radio shows were all about Britney and had little to say about the election results.

Election Stupidity Humor

Ridiculous and misleading election commercials are the norm right now (in the US where we have a midterm election tomorrow next week).  However, there is one that must target only the dumbest people in California.  Using the usual negative ad music and voice over, the announcer warns that...

"Proposition 87 contains over 12,000 legally binding words!"

Dear God!  Not words!!  No!!!  And legally binding at that!

Remember, this November, only vote for laws that contain pictures, but not legally binding pictures, only suggestions.  Yes, support suggestive pictures.  And the more suggestive, the better!  :)
