stolen identities
Recently I became a victim of identity theft. I know the name, physical and email address of the thief, but since he did not succeed in opening credit card with my SS#, there is no crime!!! Can you believe it? my info is out there and I cannot protect myself. here you have an identity management crisis - not police, not FBI, not FTC are going to go after this person. Even though I have his address!!! At this time they are collecting reports to gather statistics and qualify the problem. How can I take justice into my own hands? any ideas? btw, what identity mgmt technology is used in social security?

My tad bit of advice would be as follows:

Try and find where this guy goes and what he does. Document how he lives for a few days. Then one day when you know what he's going to do, visit him with a bat and crack his knees in. Think about this, if you don't get caught, there was no crime.

P.S. This is what I did myself. But make sure you wear a mask and use some common sense when doing it. e.g., Don't aim for the head.

Violence really isn't the answer, really it isn't.
