SD Times on "Implementing Accessibility Standards"
The mainstream press, which on occasion has articles about technology for people with disabilities, is starting to pick up on the industry trend toward Accessibility Standards, and "Access by Contract" (a trend Sun started in 1997 with the Java Accessibility API). Alex Handy wrote a nice piece today in SD Times online about it. In the article, Alex observes: "for developers who wish to make their products usable by the blind, or by folks with other disabilities, such as paraplegics or users with debilitating palsies, the tools are now available to make accessible software easier to write, right from the start."
