Feedback is very important to Sun. So important, in fact, that internally, groups have created all sorts of ways to collect feedback from our web sites. In the past several months a growing group of folks have joined together to support a longer term goal of a consistent feedback mechanism across Sun sites. In our work we have come across some very attractive 3rd party tools that will help Sun get better feedback. And we've learned about the cool approaches Sun has developed in house. This effort has been undertaken in a collegial, collaborative way to support each other in better feedback. I have really enjoyed watching the support grow for better feedback mechanisms, including ratings, inline web feedback, viewable user comments, and ways to write up useful feedback reports.
