Do-Nut or Doughnut ?

Being an Alabama boy, I grew up on Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Nothing like seeing the hot doughnut sign turn on at a Krispy Kreme shop - makes most people I know, including me, turn into one of Pavlov's dogs.

While traveling this week through the Houston airport on my way LAX, I had an opportunity to try some Shipley do-nuts. I gotta say its right up there with a Krispy (don't worry Krispy - the glazed cruller is still my all time favorite along with the chocolate iced custard filled).

So if you are in Houston airport, have a little lay over, and have a sweet tooth like me, look around for the Shipley Do-Nut shop. You won't be disappointed !!
