NeoOffice for Mac
Wow. I just downloaded the new beta for Neo Office for Mac. NeoOffice is the Mac port of Open Office/Star Office. I have never been more pleased with a word processing application for a long time. NeoOffice looks and behaves like a proper Mac application. Now I just need to find a banking application and I can ditch Windows for good. Counting the days. Welcome to the party. No brainer, ain't it.
BTW, what banking app do you use today? Just curious.. I wonder if some over the web equivalent would not suffice.. Can't imagine a non-banker being tied to a niche [banking] app so much that it holds back on adopting the Mac..
Best, Atul

Welcome to the Mac World. Once you go Mac, you never go back.
For finances, get Quicken. I've been using Quicken on the Mac since 1993 including on-line bill payments. I have all my financial records and stock trades for the last 14 years.
It also integrates well at tax time with TurboTax for the Mac.

I use Money today. Downloaded iBank and MoneyDance trial. Will take a look at Quicken.
