Update of VCL TestTool Application for OOo 2.3
I want to give you an short update of the state for the new VCL TestTool Application for OOo 2.3.
The change will take place with CWS gh13 after releasing the next milestone of OOo: 2.2
It will be used to test OOo 2.3 and it's developer releases.
The changed test scripts / environment for OOo 2.3 can only be used with the new TestTool.
Here is the list of changes:
GU Interface
1. Default value for the HID directory selection
2. Configuration for the Crashreporter values
3. Selection for the OOo to use for testing
Commands
1. Enable TreeListBox controls with more than one column
2. Send http requests
3. Enable EditBowseBox control
4. Command if menu is expandable / has submenu
5. Enable Roadmap control
6. setControlType is obsolete
Internal
1. Synchon slot execution
2. PostKeyEvents per default
3. resetapplication for wizards
4. open context menu on floting toolbar
5. Support system eComStation
Other
- Documentation updated
Currently known issues:
0. There are currently no known issues introduced by this CWS.
1. But there is some change in handling TreeListBoxes which affects only a few scripts, which need to get adjusted.
2. From former changes to OOo the following exists and affects TestTool behaviour:

We will workaround this, by adjusting the test scripts.
Schedule:
Verification of issues in CWS gh13: done, TBO
Verification of general functionality on one platform: done, TBO
Running all 200 test scripts on the available platforms: in progress, TBO, HDE, JSI
Evaluating the results: until end of january: by all automated test script writers
