I am in denver today and had a great group with alot of great questions.... I already got an answer to the first one on coe.... DISA is in the process of porting and testing the DII COE kernel to S10 now..... If you are feeling an immediate need for this email me and i can get you contact info to who you bug to get this done.. I also got the cdrom eject question, since the global owns the device the local zones would only be able to read from the device. ejecting could only be done at the global.... I'm still working on a couple more, mib2 and panics

So for those of you who are looking for my presentation.. i found out i have to send it through the machine before i post it. I'll have it up here probably tomarrow..maybe even tonite.. So we had a great turn out in Wisconsin .. starting with a deep dive in madison. We had a few technical difficulties but after we got rolling i think it was a good day. The only problem is i think i had a question or 2 that i didn't write down. these days I'm moving pretty fast and i'm also a 43 year old mother of 4 year old twins boys.. things just don't want to stick very well in the grey matter. So if you were at this event and can rememeber the questions i was going to post.. please send me email at linda.kateley@sun.com Milwaukee was very good. We found out that there is a little discrepency between what we are hearing from isv's and what you all are hearing out in the field. I still am researching the veritas question and will post when i get an answer. In chicago i went to rush medical and iit.. I did get a question about upgrade from 8-10.. the answer is yes and not only 8 but 7 too. I actually had an internal response from a guy who is in the process of upgrading like 100 servers from 7, 8 and 9 using live upgrade..very cool, the only downtime they will have is to boot to the new load. I'm off to denver now .. traveling the US to bring glad tiddings of solaris 10
