On hope
Tuesday Nov 07, 2006
Hope is a wonderful thing. It keeps the world turning. If I had no hope of a better future, I wouldn't wake up in the morning. I would just stay in bed until I died. I love hope! Outside of Minneapolis there is a town called Hope MN. When my husband and I drive by that sign we always say "Oh there's hope in one mile"
After 3 long years of singing the praises of Solaris 10 to anyone who will listen, I am having alot of hope that the message is catching on. I heard yesterday from a customer, that they had heard(blogging is nice for second and third hand information) that source code contributions to apache and tomcat now come mostly from people running solaris x86. Why is this hopeful? Developers can run anything and they are choosing Solaris BTW I think the only person who reads this is my brother in law.. Hi Mike!.. I feel really privileged to have married into such a nice family.
