Monday November 19, 2007 MBean Browser plugin in VisualVM Preview 2
VisualVM Preview 2 is publicly available for download at the VisualVM project website.
What's new in VisualVM Preview 2?
- a working Plugins Center,
- MBeans tab from JConsole,
- new About dialog,
- profiler bug fixes,
- latest NetBeans platform,
- usability improvements.
The new MBean Browser plugin is available at the VisualVM Preview 2 Plugins Center and integrates JConsole's MBeans tab functionality into the VisualVM tool.
The MBean Browser plugin allows to browse the MBeans registered in the out-of-the-box management agent's platform MBean server both in local and remote Java applications. It also allows to get and set MBean attributes and invoke MBean operations as well as subscribing for MBean notifications.

I have no access to the plugin central from my development machine... why not regular download site ?
