...in addition to needing a good phone headset, I need a camera phone that is super forgiving of my crappy photography skills. I'd even settle for a small, quality digital camera that can easily fit in my purse. Any suggestions?

Here's the snap that got away this morning (taken with my Treo 650). It's a mother and baby fox. I felt like busting out a John Denver tune when I saw them, but I couldn't remember the words beyond "Colorado Rocky Mountain Hiiiiiiigh...I've doo doo dooooo dee doo doo dooooo dee daaaaaa..."

UPDATE Thanks for the suggestions, D.N., Sandy, and Mike! Per your advice and a bit of research, I went with the Cannon PowerShot SD750 Digital ELPH and LOVE it! I shoot like pro now (and am annoying my family with the following recurring plea: "Oh! Let me take a picture of you doing that!").
Comments:

Our primary camera is a Canon Digital ELPH (SD300; see http://www.powershot.com for a list). It's the size of a credit card and less than an inch thick. Not only will it fit in a purse --- it will fit in a pocket.

I'm on my 2nd Canon ELPH (SD550) -- Had an SD200 for 4 years and it still works! Great zoom, clear pics - just love it because it's so small and easy to use. (don't laugh, the best deals are on QVC.com -- go right on line and you don't have to even watch the channel! As for your song lyrics, being a Colorado-ian or -ite, or whatever....... you should know that song :-) Go and brushup on it at: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/j/john+denver/rocky+mountain+high_20073260.html ....the colorado rocky mountain high Ive seen it rainin fire in the sky The shadow from the starlight is softer than a lullabye Rocky mountain high (high colorado) rocky mountain high (high colorado).....

Some useful infos: The pocket-sized 7.1 Megapixel PowerShot SD550 Digital ELPH and 5.0 Megapixel PowerShot SD450 Digital ELPH cameras, join Canon’s line-up between the SD500 and SD400 models which will continue to be available. The new PowerShot SD550 and 450 Digital ELPH cameras offer consumers a big 2.5-inch LCD screen, while retaining Canon’s famed functionality and optical viewfinder. Additionally, the new cameras feature a new UI display designed to capitalize on the larger screen size.
