SOMEONE who lives in the same domicile as myself was kind enough to assist with the loading/running/unloading of the dishwasher. Excellent. Love it.

They did, however, commit a rather noticeable mistake. They actually loaded the following water bottle along with it's lemon garnishes into the dishwasher. OK, an honest mistake, right?

lemons However, upon the successful completion of the wash cycle, the mistake became quite a bit more severe when that same person unloaded said water bottle along with it's now detergent saturated lemons into the kitchen cabinet of said domicile.

This person shall remain nameless. But I will tell you this. I live with one man and one child...

...and it wasn't the child. You do the math. Yip.

He's just following instructions from the "Man Handbook for Avoiding Work"

- "To avoid having to do a job, do it poorly and you'll never be asked to do it again."

I can't stand the way my wife loads the dishwasher. All willy nilly with no thought as to how the water might flow and which racks hold which dishes best. I think she read the book in Kevin's comment before we got married.

He did you two favors. First, you know how all the dishwasher detergents boast of having lemon scent? Well yours had extra lemon boost. Second, you know how you're supposed to wash produce to remove pesticides, bacteria, etc.? Well your lemon is now extra clean. What's the problem here?

How many days until you discovered the lemony water bottle in the cabinet?

Pam, probably one day -- thank goodness. The lemons were still pretty firm...and yellow.

If you only knew the duties I have to do being Linda's Man Servant. I think leaving a decaying lemon rine in a water bottle is rather minor. I was probably focusing on my next deliverables such as getting the Grass Cut or doing the laundry.

As a mountaingirl who does not excel at household skills I can understand how this might happen. I think I may have to slide this in one day soon to ensure Mountain Hubby continues to restrict my cleaning duties! How clever.....
