Why PacMan had to die?
|
NetBeans
|
NetBeans team in Prague moved to new building some weeks ago. The new building is made from glass and metal. Someone here called it "Glass Inferno". All the offices seemed to be same and boring to us. Therefore Michal and Adam from our office decided to change it. They created nice painting of Pacman on the window.
We LIKED it very much however the owner of the building didn't understand that we are not robots but human beings. They commanded us to remove the Pacman painting from the window. WHY, WHY? We just wanted to make our enviroment more comfortable.
The Pacman had to die. If you wanna see him animated click the image above. At the end of the movie he just panics and eats everything. Bye, bye, Pacman.
We are living in sterile and clear enviroment again. I should be honest to you therefore I'll borrow camera from somebody here in the building to publish some photos from our office...

1. Find a Solaris Nevada build >= B72
2. Run
$ /usr/bin/ksh93 /usr/demo/ksh/fun/gnaw #
(screenshot can be found at http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/ksh93-integration/screenshots/gnaw_v8_anim_normal.gif)

Hi Lukas!
Too bad you had to remove the painting - every office needs some human touches to make the work day bearable... ;-)
