Sun and Redflag Chinese 2000 to Collaborate on OpenOffice.org Projects

This is really great news!

Having 50 more people working full-time on OpenOffice.org is really helpful, because there are so many interesting things that can only be done when having enough people working on the project.

Beside more localizations and more extensively QA, OpenOffice.org really needs more people contributing to the application code.

Working as a Technical Architect in Sun's OpenOffice.org team, the code contributions are for me the most interesting part of the new collaboration.

We will make sure to give our new colleagues from Redflag Chinese 2000 all support they need to understand the different code modules, and will give advise and support on implementing the different things they plan to do.

In return, OpenOffice.org will soon have more strong code contributors.
This should lead to more and enhanced features which can be helpful for everybody, and also to some features which are only needed in certain regions, and which are therefor currently not (enough) addressed in the current product.

Welcome to OpenOffice.org!
