OpenSolaris Coming to a SPARC Platform Near You
OpenSolaris was always intended to support multiple CPU architectures, although the first OpenSolaris releases only provided support for the x86 architecture. Soon, OpenSolaris
will be supporting SPARC. The OpenSolaris team is seeking feedback on which SPARC CPUs and platforms should be prioritized for the first supported releases.
