Rooster and a Roaster
It has been a great holiday break. It started with a pre-holiday ski trip with family and friends to
Whistler. Upon returning home, I found an extra helping of my favorite Rooster Farms coffee had been delivered, which I have been enjoying each morning. In the evenings, I have been enjoying my new
Roaster, having finally replaced my 5 year old Costco special which was quite the worse for wear. Living about a mile from the ocean is not kind to barbeque grills, so I will definitely be putting the Jenn-Air's lifetime burner warrenty to the test. The best part of the holiday break, however, was not what I received but the precious time enjoyed with family and friends.
To keep the holiday spirit going, I have set aside a pound of my Rooster Farms to take into the office for my long threatened Starbucks vs Peets vs Rooster Farms brew-off, now confirmed for Friday January 6 in Sun's El Segundo office. At least one other Sun Blogger has confirmed his attendance and I'm hoping to round up a few of the 9th floor Solaris gang to wonder up as well. It promises to be a good incentive to get to work by 8:30. Anyone wanting to share their favorite roast is welcome to join in.
