Singapore APSTC Review
I'm always amazed to hear the latest developments at Sun's
Asia Pacific Science and Technology Center research review. It is the main technical training I get these days. APSTC's work actually extends far beyond Singapore or even Asia Pacific. One of the interesting projects APSTC is working on is
SORMA. SORMA deals with the development of methods and tools for an efficient market-based allocation of resources, through a self-organizing resource management system, using market-driven models supported by extensions for Grid infrastructures. This is actually an EU funded project and APSTC's role is on the federated identity and security area.
This afternoon I visited visiting the National Grid Program Office and had time to talk on camera to a few of the APSTC researchers so you can hear first hand what they are working on as soon as I have time to upload the video.
