Who am I?
My name is Marcos Ares and I have been working at Sun since I graduated as a Telecom Engineer aged
23, back in 1996... In other words, my whole professional experience
has been developped at Sun Microsystems. The first 7 years in the house
were run in the R&D space, as a Development Engineer of
client/server applications in both the bandwidth management and the
identity infrastructure space (RSVP Protocol, Bandwidth Manager, Radius
Server, LDAP Directory Services). Then, since April 2003 I joined the
Support Organization as a back-line support engineer for Sun customers
in the Identity space, helping them on their new deployments, their
architectural changes, configuration, tuning, scaling and outage
recoveries. I have recently become a Software Solution Engineer, mainly dedicated to guide, consult and support several Sun specific premium accounts on their Directory Services architectural designs and deployments.
