OpenDS doc leader Lana Frost sent mail to the OpenDS users list to say Happy New Year 2008, but also to recap a few of the docs accomplishments for 2007. Here is an excerpt.
As the new year starts, we in the OpenDS doc community need to assess what we have accomplished:
- The documentation wiki went live on April 20, 2007.
- The wiki now hosts 951 articles.
- Great progress has been made in automatically generating the Configuration Guide from the .xml files. This development will promote the currency and accuracy of configuration articles. (Way to go, Jerome!)
- We encountered very little vandalism or spam, and most of that appears to have been inadvertent.
