I've got last results from our usage statistics and final number is over 650,000 active NetBeans users (Mar 2009) ...

... it's 50% more than a year ago (Mar 2008).


Below are statistics for the top fifteen countries over the past twelve months regardless of product version:
... countries : Comoros, Mayotte, Guinea-Bissau are on the bottom of the list with 1 active user each ;).
