Java.net celebrates its one-year (paper) anniversary June 10. In honor of the occassion, the site is inviting folks to send in tasteful and appropirate pictures of Duke and friends celebrating.

wouldn't you like to be a blogger too?

hey you guys,

today's the day -- blogs.sun.com just came out of the closet in a huge way.

hat trick:

1. internal email went out from John Fowler, EVP Network Systems group. he told employees all about the whole blog-thang and then he asked them  "So, what are you waiting for?"

2. then this computerworld story is making the rounds on email. there's actually a press story on this thing.

3. the lead story on our internal portal encourages employees worldwide to "express yourself" with a blog.

Vogue. Vogue. Everybody move to the music.
