I know I swore I would never do it again after Shanghai.
I swore that I would never, ever, never again bring new shoes on a business trip no matter how cute they are and how well they match with my outfits.
This is the last time. I promise. I really, really promise this time.

They're just so cute. And so practical. And so summery. And they'd go with virtually everything I'm packing. There's no way I'll regret this.
DSW Shoe Warehouse. I love that place.

p.s. I am very proud to report I am all caught up on email (less than 20 in my in-box; don't send me mail you'll ruin my totals), I've done my expense reports -- Shanghai and others I had to get in before the close of the quarter. I've printed out my eticket confirmation and hotel confirmation and they're in my purse. I've finished working on my schedule for the week and I've printed it out. And I figured out how to use my new (!) digital camera! (!!!) Now all I gotta do is kids' laundry; get the forms filled out for camp for number 2; write a letter to the tax people; get that document for my dad forwarded to his lawyer; get the kids to church; call Aziz and ask him to come take me to the airport tonight; put out all the clothes that the kids will need for our summer vacation so that the most wonderful man on the face of the planet can pack them up while i'm in california because we leave for summer vacation the day after i get back; pack my own suitcase for this little javaone trip and then we're good to go. i think. i'm forgetting something... what am i forgetting?
